What is the sponsor money for?
Restoration154 hosts one big fundraiser annually: Rockin’ the River. This year, the festival will be held on May 4, 2024 in downtown Elba. By being a sponsor of this festival, you are not only helping to promote your business, you are helping your community! Restoration154 is a local non-profit organization that plans, organizes, and implements many impactful projects right here in Elba. This year we are specifically working to fund the following initiatives:
We have secured some grant money and received some donations for this, but more funding is needed to make this a reality! We are planning for a professionally designed and installed mural on the floodgate walls along the Simmons Bridge over the Pea River. This will improve the charm of our beloved downtown, while helping to promote eco-tourism to the region.

The produce grown at The Giving Garden is donated to the Elba Food Bank and given to local citizens in need. Annually, we host Spring and Fall Planting events where we clean out the raised beds and plant new crops. Currently, funds are needed to make repairs to the garden beds and to purchase new soil, hoses, seeds, and plants.

We are currently working to fund audio equipment, projection equipment, stage rigging, stage curtains, new sound panels, stage lighting, a movie screen, a cyclorama, and improved flooring for the stage at The Elba Theatre. This will allow us to expand the types of programming that we can accommodate in this historic space - bringing more of the arts to our beloved downtown square. Proceeds are also used to help pay for the ongoing operational expenses for the theatre (utilities, taxes, and insurance).

Additionally, we are working closely with the National Parks Service, Auburn University Landscape Architecture and other stakeholders to improve the outdoor recreational assets in our city. Funds are sometimes needed to be good hosts to these folks when they visit Elba.
