CJ Cox

CJ Cox has always loved art, and it has always been a constant thread woven through every season of life. In 2023, that connection to art deepened in a profound way after a farming accident left CJ paralyzed and facing multiple ongoing health challenges. Since then, art has become more than expression. It has become physical therapy, a way to hold onto strength and reclaim movement in a body that has endured so much. It is also a space of resilience and adaptation, where CJ continues to create, learn, and experiment with new techniques and learning new ways to navigate everyday life. Art is also CJ’s voice. Living with a speech impediment that at times makes verbal communication difficult, painting becomes a way to speak, to connect, and to be understood. What others may see as a painting, CJ experiences as a conversation, a story, a future being shaped in color and form. Through every piece, CJ Cox creates possibility, expression, and a path forward. James Ruth

James Ruth is a self-taught artist whose work emerges from a deeply personal journey of resilience and transformation. His pieces often explore the tension between structure and fluidity. Each canvas becomes a space where brokenness is not concealed, but reimagined into something cohesive, expressive, and alive. Guided by intuition and lived experience rather than formal training, Ruth creates abstract and emotionally charged works that speak to restoration, perseverance, and the beauty of beginning again. To see more of James' work on Instgram: James Ruth Studio
