Thank you for your interest in Art on the River, a curated visual arts experience within the Rockin’ the River Arts & Music Festival in Elba, Alabama. Art on the River is thoughtfully juried to create a cohesive, high-quality arts experience for both artists and the community. Because of this, artist vendors and gallery artists do not apply through the general vendor form. Please take a moment to review the process below before submitting your materials.
Step 1: Review the Artist Application Packet
Before applying, please download and carefully review the Art on the River Artist Application & Prospectus Packet attached on this page. This packet includes:
Ways to participate (Gallery Artist and/or Artist Vendor)
Important dates and deadlines
Vendor fees and logistics
Curation and selection details
Sales and commission information
Artist hospitality and festival support
We want to make sure this opportunity is a good fit for you — and that you have a clear sense of what to expect.
Step 2: Prepare Your Submission
After reviewing the packet, please gather the following:
A brief description of your work
2–5 images of recent or representative pieces
Your preferred participation type:
Gallery Artist
Artist Vendor (outdoor booth)
Or both
Step 3: Submit Your Application by Email
Once you’re ready, please email your materials directly to our Artist Coordinator:

Katie will confirm receipt of your materials and guide you through next steps if your work is accepted.
What Happens Next?
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis
Artists are vetted to ensure alignment with the overall vision and quality of Art on the River
Accepted artists will receive:
Confirmation of acceptance
Instructions for completing vendor registration (if applicable)
Additional logistical details as the festival approaches
